high on caffeine = low on sleep

it's now 1:20am on my side of the globe and i'm still very much awake.

*sigh*

i should have known better. 32 ounces of coke zero + 8 ounces of chamomile tea = no 40 winks for me

(trivia: a cup of tea contains as much caffeine as a regular cup of coffee. trust me. we measured it.)

let's see... there are several reasons why i should hit the sack right now.

1. it's 1:24am.
2. i'm going to the gym tomorrow for a 1.5h workout.
3. i'm meeting my BFFs after gym.
4. we're going to watch a movie.
5. i haven't caught up with my sleep debt.
6. trainer from said gym said i'm not getting enough sleep.
7. lack of sleep leads to slower metabolism and less recovery time.
8. my salad/ granola bars might not be there when i wake up tomorrow, or should i say later.
9. i can't follow my meal plan if i slept halfway through the day.
10. it's now 1:45am.

nothing. i'm still not sleepy. here's to wishing i won't sleep through the movie.
